Döswitz is a district of the town of Schnaittenbach in the district of Amberg-Sulzbach in the Upper Palatinate in Bavaria .

history

On May 1, 1978, the Kemnath am Buchberg community , to which Döswitz belonged, was incorporated into the town of Schnaittenbach.

Döswitz is located on the AS 32 district road between Kemnath am Buchberg and the district border between the Amberg-Sulzbach district and the Schwandorf district . From Kemnath am Buchberg it is only a few hundred meters to Döswitz.

Döswitz is connected to local public transport via two bus routes. These are, on the one hand, line 44 of the RBO between Neuersdorf and Nabburg via Schnaittenbach ( VGN line 444) and, on the other hand, line 74 of the RBO between Götzendorf or Mertenberg and Schnaittenbach.

The nearest train stations are in Wernberg-Köblitz (10 km), Nabburg (11 km) and in Amberg (20 km).
