Neuersdorf is a district of the town of Schnaittenbach in the district of Amberg-Sulzbach in the Upper Palatinate in Bavaria .

history

In 1759 the town of Neuersdorf had 36 male inhabitants, in 1800 there were 58 inhabitants, in 1817 there were 68 inhabitants who mostly work as day laborers , Neuersdorf belonged to the Parkstein-Weiden district and the Holzhammer district.

On July 1, 1972, the previously independent community of Holzhammer , to which Neuersdorf belonged, was incorporated into the town of Schnaittenbach.

Neuersdorf is located directly on the district boundary between the district of Amberg-Sulzbach and the district of Neustadt an der Waldnaab on the AS 32 district road between Holzhammer and the district boundary . From Schnaittenbach you can reach Neuersdorf via the federal highway 14 and the district road AS 32 after eight kilometers.

Neuersdorf is connected to local public transport via three bus routes. These are line 44 of the RBO between Neuersdorf and Nabburg via Schnaittenbach ( VGN line 444), line 55 of the RBO between Weiden and Amberg (VGN line 455) and line 74 of the RBO between Götzendorf or Mertenberg and Schnaittenbach.

The nearest train stations are in Wernberg-Köblitz (11 km) and in Amberg (28 km).
