The Lenz type ii were steam locomotives of the Mallet type with a 1000 mm gauge and an axle load of 5 t, which were used on various railways on which Lenz & Co. was in charge of operations.
Vulcan type
At the beginning, only light two-axle locomotives were available on the Franzburger Kreisbahnen (FKB). For the increased need for traffic, the company Lenz & Co., which was in charge of operations, ordered a Mallet locomotive from AG Vulcan in Stettin, which was designated Type II due to its gauge and axle load and was given the number 7. The frame was designed as an inner frame, both for the main frame and for the front drive unit . The four engines were designed as compound engines and had Heusinger controls with flat slide. Originally the locomotive had a Kobel chimney, but it was soon replaced by a normal chimney. The supplies were located on the side of the boiler. This locomotive performed well, so that in 1910 another locomotive of the same type was bought (No. 8). Both locomotives were still in use when the Franzburger Kreisbahnen were taken over by the Reichsbahn on April 1, 1949 and were given the road numbers 99 5621 and 5622. In 1967 and 1969, respectively, they were shut down.

The Greifenberger Kleinbahn in Pomerania also needed more powerful locomotives after being changed to meter gauge . These were built by Orenstein & Koppel between 1903 and 1910 and were given the numbers 11 to 16. A similar locomotive went to the Kolberger Kleinbahn. This design also had an inner frame. The O&K patent control was used as the control. The locomotives had a coal box at the rear. Three of the Greifenberger and Kolberger locomotives were handed over to the Heeresfeldbahnen in 1915, but never returned. The other three survived the Second World War and were classified as Tx 7 by the Polish State Railways (PKP), which took over the railway.

From 1911 onwards, Hanomag also built seven similar mallet locomotives for the Pomeranian Railways. From 1910, however, operational management was no longer with Lenz & Co., But with the small railroad department of the provincial administration, which took over the type classes from Lenz and also classified these locomotives as Type II. They had the following locations
- two at the Kolberger Kleinbahn , in use with the numbers 8 to 9
- one at Saatziger Kleinbahnen , from around 1925 at Kolberger Kleinbahn No. 10
- two at the Greifenberger Kleinbahn , numbers 17 and 18
- one at the Regenwalder Kleinbahnen, number 11
- one at Franzburger Kreisbahnen, number 9.
With the exception of the Saatziger Kleinbahn locomotive, all locomotives were handed over to the Heeresfeldbahnen between 1914 and 1917 and did not return to their main lines. The locomotive with the no. 10 even survived the Second World War and ran from 1945 with the number PKP Tx 7. In 1951 it was converted into a three-clutch locomotive (C1), then scrapped in 1957. The external dimensions of these locomotives were largely identical to the O&K machines, and they also had internal frames for both engines, but this time Heusinger controls . They also had a rear coal box.
