Dabba (Garzê)

The location of Daocheng County (pink) in the Garzê Autonomous District of the Tibetans (yellow) in the west of the Chinese province of Sichuan .

Dabba (Daocheng) ( Tibetan : འདབ་ པ་ རྫོང ། , transcription after Wylie : 'dab pa rdzong , also Dabba Zong , Chinese  稻城 县 , Pinyin Dàochéng Xiàn ) is a district of the Garzê Autonomous District of the Tibetans in the southwest Chinese province of Sichuan . In 1999 it had 27,704 inhabitants. Its main town is the Jingzhoi ( 金珠 镇 , Jīnzhū ) community.

Administrative structure

At the community level, Dabba is made up of four large communities and ten communities . These are in the official spelling of the place names:

  • Greater community Jingzhoi (金珠镇), capital, seat of the district government;
  • Large village Shangri-La (香格里拉镇);
  • Greater community Qugar (吉呷镇);
  • Sumdü Municipality (桑 堆 镇);
  • Community Bucang (蒙自乡);
  • Cêrong municipality (赤土 乡);
  • Community Dingbo (邓波乡);
  • Community Goyangtang (俄牙同乡);
  • Community Jangrong (巨龙乡);
  • Kaqa municipality (各 卡 乡);
  • Mangra parish (木 拉 乡);
  • Saila parish (色拉 乡);
  • Sammo municipality (省 母 乡);
  • Community Wangqu (傍河乡).
