life and career

Tahan was born, probably in March 2001, the youngest child of Ellie and Michael Tahan in Glen Rock, New Jersey. She followed her brother Charlie, who was over two years older than her, into an acting career and, after a few theater appearances, got her first role in a well-known production in 2007, when she appeared in the Helen Hunt comedy Then She Found Me , the directorial debut of the successful actress. In the same year she was finally seen in David Auburn's drama The Girl in the Park , where she again played a not insignificant supporting role in the third Pulitzer Prize- winning film .

In 2008 a small role followed in Synecdoche, New York , the directorial debut of the multiple award-winning (including an Oscar ) screenwriter and producer Charlie Kaufmann . In the following year, the young up-and-coming actress had numerous other engagements in film and, more recently, in television series. For example, she stood in front of the camera in an episode of the series Law & Order: Special Victims Unit and at the same time got a leading role in Nurse Jackie , where she was seen in eleven different episodes in the same year in the recurring role of Fiona Peyton . However, Tahan only had this role in the first season of the successful series and was replaced by Mackenzie Aladjem , who was about the same age, from season 2 . In 2009 she had other engagements in the films Once More with Feeling , New York Mom and Love and Other Impossible Pursuits . While the girl from Glen Rock played an essential role in each of the first two films, she was in Love and Other Impossible Pursuits for the first time at the side of her older brother, but at the same time only appeared in a smaller role. In 2010 Tahan came to work in the short film Lulu at the Ace Hotel , in which she took the title role of Lulu , and in the star-studded thriller 13 , where she only got a small role. That same year, followed by a re-eruption of the young talent when she in Little Fockers in the role of Samantha Focker , the older child of Gaylord "Greg" Focker (played by Ben Stiller ) and Pamela Martha Focker ( Teri Polo ) was picked up. After a more or less calm year 2011, her next appearances followed in the following year.
