Daniel Joseph Donegan (born August 1, 1968 in Oak Lawn , Illinois ) is an American guitarist , record producer and co-owner of the record label Intoxication Records . He is a member of the bands Disturbed and Fight or Flight and previously played with Vandal .

Career

Donegan taught himself to play guitar even with . He makes his first musical steps in the hair metal band Vandal, with whom he released the album Better Days . After the breakup of Vandal Donegan played briefly in the band Loudmouth before forming the band Brawl in 1994 . After singer David Draiman joined in 1996, Brawl changed its name to Disturbed. With Disturbed Donegan released seven studio albums and sold more than 15 million records. Disturbed was nominated twice for a Grammy and once for an Echo . Donegan took over the production of the albums Indestructible and Asylum . On the album Immortalized , Donegan also played the bass in addition to the guitar , since the actual bassist John Moyer was busy with other projects.

After the band Disturbed had taken a break in 2011, Donegan formed the band Fight or Flight with Disturbed drummer Mike Wengren and Evans Blue singer Dan Chandler , which two years later released their first and only studio album A Life by Design? published. In 2004 Donegan founded the record label Intoxication Records with David Draiman. This label has released albums by the Canadian band Art of Dying , among others . Donegan produced the album Vices and Virtues with Howard Benson and contributed a guitar solo to the title song on the follow- up album Rise Up .

Dan Donegan is married and has two children.
