Music as a Weapon II is the first live album of American Metal - band Disturbed . It was released on February 24, 2004 via Reprise Records .
Emergence
After the release of their second studio album Believe (Disturbed album) , Disturbed started their tour of North America called Music as a Weapon II with the support groups Taproot , Chevelle and Unloco . The recordings for the live album took place at the concert on May 3, 2003 in the Aragon Ballroom in Chicago . What is unusual for a live album is the fact that not only the headliner Disturbed, but also the three supporting groups are represented here. Taproot contributed three songs and Chevelle and Unloco two songs each to the album.
Disturbed's song Dehumanized was previously unreleased, as was the acoustic cover version of Metallica 's Fade to Black . Disturbed singer David Draiman appears as a guest singer on the Chevelle song The Red , while the singers from the bands Chevelle and Unloco Pete Loeffler and Joey Duenas appear on the Disturbed song Stupify . Music as a Weapon II was the last Disturbed album with bassist Steve "Fuzz" Kmak, who later left the band and was replaced by John Moyer . In addition, the album is the last release by the band Unloco, which broke up in late 2003. The album was released on CD and as a CD / DVD package, with the DVD containing video recordings and, as a bonus, the music video Liberate by Disturbed.
