Fight or Flight is an American rock band . The band is under contract with Warner Bros. and has so far released a studio album.
history
In July 2011 the members of the metal band Disturbed announced that they would take an indefinite break for personal reasons. In the same year, Disturbed guitarist Dan Donegan began writing new songs for himself. He later contacted the singer of the Canadian rock band Evans Blue Dan Chandler to develop the ideas further. Disturbed drummer Mike Wengren was later added and the trio recorded their first demos . The band line-up was completed by bassist Sean Corcoran from the band Ra and second guitarist Jeremy Jayson.
Fight or Flight were signed by Warner Bros. Records . The first single First of the Last was released on iTunes in May 2013 . The debut album A Life by Design? followed on July 19, 2013. With Some Heads Are Gonna Roll , originally by Judas Priest , the album contains a cover version . Three days earlier the band played their first concert in La Crosse . On his Facebook page, Donegan stated that Fight or Flight does not mean the end of Disturbed.
style
Fight or Flight play alternative rock with hard rock influences. According to Dan Donegan, the musicians are experimenting with acoustic guitars and electronic elements. Christof Leim from the German magazine Metal Hammer compared Fight or Flight with bands like Alter Bridge , Shinedown or Creed .
