Dana Michelle DeArmond (born June 16, 1979 in Fort Bragg , North Carolina ) is an American porn actress who has been active since 2004. In 2016 she was inducted into the AVN Hall of Fame .

Career

During her youth DeArmond did figure skating , among other things in the same club as the porn actress Sunny Lane , and initially worked as a street dancer at Disney World . She then worked as a stripper in Florida and California before she filmed her first bondage scenes for the online portal Kink.com like her friend Bobbi Starr, thus starting her career as a porn actress.

DeArmond was seen in several old porn films by Eon McKai , including Girls Lie , which received media attention as part of a cinema screening at the Berlin Porn Film Festival . In 2007, she was for Andrew Blake film X in front of the camera. She has also made two porn documentaries that she describes as guides for newcomers to the porn industry: Dana DeArmond Does the Internet and Dana DeArmond's Role Modeling . Both were released by Vivid Entertainment .

After a fire in January 2007 that destroyed her home and possessions, the porn industry bailed her back on her feet.

In 2006 DeArmond gave a talk with Eon McKai at the University of California at Santa Barbara . On November 8, 2007, she again took part in a series of lectures entitled Sociology of Sexuality at the University of California at Irvine . After lecturing sociology professor Kassia Wosick-Correa on the sex industry and showing pornographic material, she and her boyfriend Daniel and porn actors Justin Long and Jon Jon answered questions from the students.

DeArmond is the winner of the CAVR Award : In 2008 she received her first award as Siren of Year . In 2007 she was a finalist at the FAME Award in the Favorite Female Rookie category , but lost to Alektra Blue and Brandy Talore . In the following two years she received the Urban X Award for the best anal scene , before winning her first AVN award in 2012 after a few nominations for the best female scene together with Belladonna . In addition, Dana DeArmond has been a member of the AVN Hall of Fame since January 2016 and has been nominated for other prizes such as the XRCO Award several times.
