There she enrolls at Musical High, where she makes new friends in the Afro-American Charity and her brother Thomas Uncle. In addition to their training, they also dance in a street dance aisle. Thomas and Megan fall in love despite the social differences. He makes her dance again. Together, they put together the ultimate dance troupe to win $ 5,000 in a local dance competition .

Reviews
The film received rather negative reviews. On the well-known, English-language review site Rotten Tomatoes , the film achieved a rating of only 18%.
"The handful of moments in which" Dance Flick "is funny are just not worth the parade of stereotypes, meanness and stupidity that the viewer would have to endure on the way there. If you don't know the relevant dance films by heart, you won't have much to laugh about anyway. And dance film lovers should also save their money on a cinema ticket due to the poor choreography. The German subtitle makes it abundantly clear: "Dance Flick - The very last dance film" is indeed the very last. "
“This meager framework of popular dance films serves as an occasion to stuff the genre parody with hip-hop, ballet and dance school clichés. The makers of the "Scary Movie" series seek their salvation in unrestrained exaggeration and only produce tiring boredom on the lowest level of pun. "
