Dania Jissel Ramírez (born November 8, 1979 in Santo Domingo ) is a Dominican actress .

life and career

At the age of 15, Ramírez came to the United States to work as a photo model . After studying at Montclair State University , she went to Los Angeles to devote herself to acting. Ramirez's first notable role was in Spike Lee's drama 25 Hours, alongside Edward Norton and Philip Seymour Hoffman . In 2003 she appeared in three episodes of Buffy the Vampire Slayer . In 2004 Ramírez was again in a film by director Lee, in She Hate Me . In 2006 she starred in the role of Callisto in the comic book version X-Men: The Last Stand . In addition, she acted in the second part of the sixth season of the US television series The Sopranos as Blanca Selgado in several episodes. From 2007 to 2008 she played the role of Maya Herrera in the NBC series Heroes . From 2013 to 2016, she played the role of Rosie Falta , one of the central leading roles, in the series Devious Maids - Dirty Secrets . Since 2017 she has played the role of Jacinda / Cinderella in the fantasy series Once Upon A Time .

Ramírez has been married to John Land since February 2013. They became the mother of twins in July 2013.
