Daniel Jungwirth (born January 15, 1982 in Munich ) is a German soccer player .
Career
In his youth, Jungwirth played for FC Ismaning and for FC Bayern Munich , with whom he became German B-Junior Champion on July 20, 1997 in Unterhaching after the Werder Bremen team was defeated 3-0. He also played for the U-16 national team. His senior career began at Borussia Mönchengladbach , where he played in their amateur team from 2000 to 2003. From 2003 to 2005 he played for the amateur team of FC Bayern Munich, in which he developed into a regular player and won the championship in the Regionalliga Süd with it in 2004.
For the 2005/06 season he moved to the second division club FC Erzgebirge Aue , for whom he played 15 league games in the first season. In the first half of the following season he came only to two missions due to a broken shin. In January 2007 he reached an agreement with FC Erzgebirge Aue to terminate his contract immediately and signed a contract with regional league club FC Ingolstadt 04 the next day . With this he rose to the 2nd Bundesliga in 2008, but left it again after direct relegation and moved to third division SV Sandhausen to succeed the playmaker Leandro Grech who had switched to SpVgg Unterhaching . After two seasons he moved to SV Elversberg , which initially played in the Regionalliga West and from 2012 - due to league reform - in the Regionalliga Südwest . There Jungwirth achieved promotion to the 3rd division with Elversberg in the 2012/13 season.
