Daniel Kolář (born October 27, 1985 in Prague ) is a Czech football player .

Career

Kolář started playing football at SK Roztoky. At the age of nine he moved to the youth department of AC Sparta Prague . In the 2004/05 season the midfielder was loaned to 1. FC Slovácko , in the first half of the 2005/06 season to Chmel Blšany . Then Kolář played two and a half years for his home club, at the end of September 2008 he moved within the Gambrinus League to Viktoria Plzen . With Victoria, he was in 2011 , 2013 and 2015 respectively Czech champion and participated in the Champions League in part.

In the 2016/17 summer transfer period, he and his teammate František Rajtoral were signed by the Turkish first division club Gaziantepspor . Kolář returned to Viktoria Plzen at the end of the season.

National team

At the European Football Championship in France in 2016 , he was included in the Czech squad . He only came back on the field in the last game, when the opponent Turkey was already leading 2-0 and the team was about to end the European Championship.
