Daniel Ladurner (born October 29, 1992 in Bozen ) is a South Tyrolean mountaineer

Life

During his childhood, Ladurner spent a lot of time with his father in the South Tyrolean mountains and in the western Alps . For many years he climbed several 4,000-meter peaks with his father (at the age of 18 he had already climbed 41 four-thousand-meter peaks in the Alps). Since his professional training as a farmer, he has been working as an organic apple farmer on his parents' farm in Tscherms , South Tyrol .

In 2015 he managed the spectacular descent from Piz Roseg 3937 m over the north face and from then on numerous steep face descents in the Alps and beyond. In 2016 and 2017 he achieved some spectacular first ascent on the Ortler 3905 m and on the Königsspitze 3851 m. He also succeeded in some sensational first ascents in the ice together with Florian Riegler and Hannes Lemayr. He lives in Tscherms .

He was nominated for the Piolet d'Or in 2018 for the first ascent of the Schattenspiel route on the northeast face of the Königsspitze with Hannes Lemayr .
