Daniel Cristian Lung (born March 2, 1987 in Satu Mare ) is a Romanian football player . He has been under contract with CS Șirineasa in Liga III since the beginning of 2018 .
Career
Lung started playing soccer at Olimpia Satu Mare at the age of ten . He went through all the youth teams before the 2005-06 season came to his first appearances in the first team, which at that time in the second Romanian league, the Divizia B , played. After the club had to relegate at the end of the season, he moved to Sportul Studențesc in the capital, which had just been relegated. If he only made six appearances in his first year, he was able to fight for a regular place in the 2007/08 season . After three years in mid-league he rose with his team at the end of the 2009/10 season as runner-up behind FC Victoria Brăneşti .
The time in the upper house was not successful for Lung. Although he was called up in the majority of the games, he was only last in the table in the first year . Due to the license refusal for four clubs, this meant that the class remained. Also in the 2011/12 season he found himself with his team mostly at the bottom of the table and had to relegate. In League II he was retained Sportul. In 2013 he joined local rivals Rapid Bucharest . With Rapid he rose to the House of Lords at the end of the 2013/14 season . At the beginning of 2015 he moved to league competitor CS Concordia Chiajna . In Chiajna he was only used three times and left the club in early 2016 for second division FC Academica Clinceni . In the 2016/17 season he played for league rival ACS Foresta Suceava , with whom he was able to secure relegation. In the summer of 2017, he signed on to Liga 1 relegated Pandurii Târgu Jiu . There he was again a regular player, but left the club in early 2018 to join CS Șirineasa in Liga III .
