Iordanis Daniel Mouratidis (born May 3, 1977 in Stuttgart ) is a German administrative scientist and politician ( Bündnis 90 / Die Grünen ). From 2006 to 2009 the German-Greek was their state chairman in Baden-Württemberg . From 2009 to 2011 he was City Councilor of Backnang. He has been the second deputy since July 2016. Government spokesman for the state of Saxony-Anhalt.

Mouratidis was elected on November 12, 2006 at the state delegates' conference in Bad Krozingen in the second ballot with 119 of 213 votes as the successor to Andreas Braun as state chairman of Bündnis 90 / Die Grünen Baden-Württemberg . On October 13, 2007, Mouratidis was confirmed in office at the state delegates' conference in Heilbronn and elected for a regular term of two years. At the state delegates' conference in Biberach in November 2009, Mouratidis, who was part of the realpolitical wing, was defeated by his successor and left-wing party Christian Kühn when he tried to be re-elected . He then moved to Saxony-Anhalt, where he held the post of campaign manager for Alliance 90 / The Greens Saxony-Anhalt for the 2011 state elections . In 2016, after the Greens joined the Kenya government coalition, he was appointed second deputy government spokesman in the State Chancellery of Saxony-Anhalt , where he has since headed the public relations department for culture and media.
