Daniela Giordano

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Daniela Giordano (born November 7, 1947 in Palermo ) is an Italian actress .

Life

Giordano began her film career at the end of the sixties, after she had already been particularly interested in artistic subjects during her school days. She was elected Miss Sicily and then Miss Italy in 1966 . She turned down the title Miss Europe, which she was awarded in 1967, because she did not want to continue to fulfill the obligations associated with it.

In the same year, she made her acting debut alongside Franco & Ciccio in I barbieri di Sicilia , which was followed by numerous commercial films in which she had to fulfill female role clichés. Until the 1980s she was also seen occasionally in television productions; various works followed later. In the 2001/2002 season she was part of Gabriele Lavia's stage ensemble .

Mainly, however, Giordano worked as a journalist after 1980, focusing on paranormal phenomena. In 1999 she received the Donald E. Keyhoe Journalism Award for this.

The actress of the same name, born in 1965, is not related to her.
