action

Pot, a carefree outlaw, commits a bank robbery with his older brother Ray, as a result of which he is arrested so that Ray can escape with the money. He is soon able to trick his way out of prison and meets Steve, who helps him out of a dangerous situation. Together with him, Pot and Ray commit another successful attack, in which an old gravedigger also helps; However, shortly after the booty is distributed, Ray is killed and Steve is captured by the Mexican Lobo's gang.

Ray frees Steve during a party and then learns from the gravedigger by chance that his brother is dead. During a poker game it becomes clear that Steve is responsible for his death, which Ray is now avenging. Now alone, but also with all the prey, Ray treats himself to a bath; a poor peon steals horse and money and clothes. Ray goes on new adventures naked.

criticism

“Compared to other Fidanis,” says Christian Keßler in his overview, “it is a mediocre product, which also means that the film, measured against really good films, is really bad.” After all, it has the advantage of a reasonably entertaining script . The Italian AGCM Cinematografiche saw "a mediocre Western comic of fundamentals, with gaps in the script and sloppy direction." The lexicon of international film wrote almost "assembly-line spaghetti westerns".

Remarks

According to producer Diego Spataro, the direction was made with the participation of the author Lucio Giachin , which is why the regular pseudonym of director Demofilo Fidani was not used here.

Erika Blanc can be seen in a small guest role during the Fiesta sequence ; Carla Mancini, who is listed in the staff information , cannot be found.

Nico Fidenco's music actually comes from another film and has been reused here.
