Era Sam Wallash ... lo chiamavano "Così Sia" is not listed in the German speaking spaghetti westerns of demofilo fidani with Robert Woods in the lead role. Of the inexpensive films made by this director, he was one of the few that received positive reviews.

action

Mash Donovan rules the small town of Golden City and, with the help of his helpers, brutally nips any criticism of his actions in the bud. When he settles with the host of the local saloon, he also shoots guests down, injuring young Sam Wallash and shooting his brother Tommy. Sam barely escapes the flames of the lit saloon and, with the help of Margie and her father, can recover from his wounds; he swears vengeance. In the search for the murderers, Donovan's people beat him up again in the saloon, who also continue to use their methods and pile one crime on top of the other. At an exhibition match organized by Donovan, Sam Wallash can seize the opportunity and uncover a secret from his childhood. One by one he clears Donovan's gang out of the way, defeats the killers who were targeted on him and brings Donovan to justice.

criticism

At least in comparison, Christian Keßler finds positive words: "Within the inexplicable Fidani universe, this is a relatively good, consistently serious western revenge."
