Marina Malfatti

Marina Malfatti (actually Marisa Malfatti ; born April 25, 1933 in Florence , † June 8, 2016 in Rome ) was an Italian actress .

Life

Malfatti received her acting training at the Cours Simon and the Centro Sperimentale di Cinematografia . From 1958 onwards she was first seen in the theater and then in supporting roles in Italian films. The first major role came in 1962 with the film Branded . Malfatti worked in television from 1966 and three years later received the Premio Verga for her interpretation in Mario Landi's Dal tu a mio . From the early 1970s, she played until the middle of the decade in some spaghetti western , but especially in Gialli , while they also used the pseudonym Marina Mulligan . Then Malfatti devoted herself mainly to the stage - in the 1990s preferably under director Luigi Squarzina - to which she remained loyal until 2008 and only occasionally accepted television offers.

Malfatti was married to the diplomat Umberto La Rocca (1920–2011) until his death .
