Django and Sartana are coming (OT: Arrivano Django e Sartana… è la fine ) is a spaghetti western from the production series of cheap genre films by Demofilo Fidani . The film was only shown in Germany on September 26, 1997; a private broadcaster showed it in German synchronization.

action

Gangster boss Crazy Burt Kelly orders the kidnapping of the rancher's daughter Jessica Cobb so that he can escape to Mexico undisturbed - with a hostage, the irascible and paranoid bandit thinks he will be safer. However, the kidnapping increases the funds exposed to him and the members of his gang, which calls the unscrupulous bounty hunter Django to the scene. Burt tries to confront this with the protector of the nearby city, the sniper Sartana, so that the two dreaded men turn off each other. However, the two team up to make short work of Burt and his gang.

criticism

"Fader spaghetti westerns with numerous hard violence scenes."

“The only thing that really stands out are without exception all scenes with Gordon Mitchell as bandit boss Kelly, who plays poker with his reflection in the mirror (…). For the entire duration of the film, Gordon rages and rages that it is a real joy - the only one in the film. "

- Christian Keßler : Willkommen in der Hölle, 2002, p. 31.

Remarks

The film was shot " back-to-back " with dead people casting no shadows ; most of the actors even wear the same costumes.
