Daniela Ilian (* 1948 , according to other sources 1950 , in Hohenems , Vorarlberg ) is an Austrian actress .

Life

Daniela Ilian grew up in Feldkirch in Vorarlberg. She initially received private acting lessons and passed her aptitude and control exams at the Mozarteum in Salzburg in 1967 . She trained as an actor from 1980 to 1982 at the Lee Strasberg Theater and Film Institute in New York City .

After her training, she received her first engagement in the 1982/83 season at the “Theater am Saumarkt” in Feldkirch . Numerous theater engagements in Germany and Austria followed. From 1984 until the end of the 1988/89 season she played in several productions at the Kleine Komödie Wien. In the 1985/86 season she toured Germany with the Badische Kammerschauspiele Freiburg. In 1986 she was engaged at the Stadttheater Baden .

From the end of the 90s she took part in numerous independent Viennese theater productions, including a. at the “Helios Theater” and at the “Theater Spielraum”. From 2007 to 2010 she was the second cast at the Operettenhaus Hamburg for the role of Maria Wartberg in the Udo Jürgens musical I have never been to New York . Afterwards she was engaged as an actress and singer on the AIDA cruise ships for a year from winter 2010 .

In 2014 she was a guest at the Klosterneuburg Summer Festival near Vienna as Countess Bruckner (originally: Lady Bracknell) in Bunbury . In spring 2015 she played the role of the widowed, retired teacher Lily Harrison in the two-person comedy Six Dance Lessons in Six Weeks at the “Theater Partout” in the Lübeck Theaterhaus .

2016 she played at the Rosenberg Festival in Kronach Claire Zachanassian in Dürrenmatt -Stück The visit of the old lady . In 2018 she appeared there again, this time as the retired teacher Signora Cristina in a Don Camillo and Peppone stage version and as Marzelline in Figaro's wedding or the great day .

Ilian also took part in several interactive theater productions, directed children's, youth and adult theater and gave chanson evenings and readings.

Daniela Ilian has also been in front of the camera for several film and television productions. She has appeared in several short films and Austrian television series. In the 14th season of the TV series SOKO Kitzbühel (2015), she took on one of the episode roles alongside Bernd Tauber as the wife of a suspected Tyrolean harp maker. In addition, she was often active as an advertising actress.

Daniela Ilian has lived in Vienna for many years .
