Daniela Löwenberg (born January 11, 1988 in Dortmund ) is a German soccer player who has been under contract with BV Cloppenburg since 2012 .
Career
societies
Daniela Löwenberg attended the "Heisenberg-Gymnasium" in Dortmund-Eving, which she graduated with the Abitur. She started her career at FC Merkur 07 Dortmund . Via TuS Eving-Lindenhorst , where her older brother Christian plays today, she moved to SG Wattenscheid 09 in 2007 . With relegation after only one season, she moved to SG Essen-Schönebeck in 2008 , before she signed a contract with 1. FFC Turbine Potsdam in 2010, just like her team player Inka Wesely . With the "Turbienen" she won the German championship twice.
In the 2011/12 season Löwenberg was only used in Turbine's second team in the 2nd Bundesliga . At the end of the season, she left the club and finished her career for her studies. In October 2012 Löwenberg made her comeback and signed with the second division club BV Cloppenburg , for whom she played 16 second division games and with whom she rose to the Bundesliga as the season winner in 2013. She made her Bundesliga debut for BV Cloppenburg on September 8, 2013 (1st matchday) in a 3-3 draw in the away game against SGS Essen .
National team
In 2006 she became European champion in Switzerland with the U-19 national team. A year later she successfully defended the title in Iceland. With the U-20 national team, she took part in the 2006 World Cup in Russia.
