Danny Pino
Daniel Gonzalo Pino (born April 15, 1974 in Miami , Florida ) is an American actor .
Life
Danny Pino is of Cuban descent. He studied at Florida International University before graduating from the Tisch School of the Arts with an acting degree in 2000 . He became known through his guest appearances in the American television series The Shield - Law of Violence . Before he starred in the television series Men, Women & Dogs in 2001 , he worked in various theater productions, including a. in Up for Grabs by Madonna's side in the West End .
Until 2010 he played in the CBS crime series Cold Case - No Victim Is Ever Forget the initial hothead and later the quieter partner of Lilly Rush ( Kathryn Morris ), Scotty Valens. From 2011 to 2015 he had a leading role alongside Mariska Hargitay in the series Law & Order: Special Victims Unit , which he left after the 16th season.
