Daniel Mark Pudi (born March 10, 1979 in Chicago , Illinois ) is an American actor , comedian and voice actor .

biography

Daniel Mark Pudi is the son of an Indian and a Polish woman who met during an English language course in Chicago. After attending Notre Dame College Prep , the dancer graduated from Marquette University in Milwaukee , Wisconsin in 2001 with a degree in communications and theater. During his studies he discovered improvisational comedy with the Chris Farley Scholarship , so that in 2005 he quit his job with a headhunter , moved to Los Angeles and devoted himself to his acting career. After appearing in several commercials, he was able to establish himself and played one of the leading roles in the sitcom community from 2009 to 2015 .

Pudi is married to a former fellow student at the Marquette. They have two children together. He is a passionate marathon runner himself.
