Darechok ( Nepali दारेचोक ) is a village and Village Development Committee (VDC) in the Chitwan District of the Narayani Administrative Zone in central Nepal .
Darechok lies south of the Trishuli above the confluence of the Marsyangdi . The valley station of the Manakamana cable car is located in the suburb of Kurintar , which leads up the mountain (in the Gorkha district ) above the opposite bank of the Trishuli.
Residents
The VDC Darechok had 9607 inhabitants (thereof 4836 male) in 2029 households at the 2011 census.
