Khairahani ( Nepali खैरहनी Khairahani ) is a city (municipality) in Chitwan District ( Nepal ).

Khairahani is east of Ratnanagar in the central Terai of Nepal.

The Mahendra Rajmarg trunk road , the most important east-west road link in Nepal, runs through the city.

The city was created in 2014 by amalgamating the Village Development Committees Chainpur , Khairahani and Kumroj . The urban area of ​​Khairahani covers 68.6 km².

Residents

At the 2011 census, the VDCs from which the city of Khairahani emerged had 46,398 inhabitants (21,665 of them male) in 10,291 households.
