Dariusz Wolski

Dariusz Wolski (* 1956 in Warsaw , Poland ) is a Polish cameraman who has been working in the USA since 1979 .

Career

Wolski studied at the renowned Lodz Film School and emigrated to the USA in 1979. He started his career as a cameraman for music videos . Here he came into contact with directors such as Alex Proyas and David Fincher . Together with Proyas he later made the films The Crow - The Crow and Dark City , which are characterized by their gloomy atmosphere. Wolski worked as a director ( 2nd unit ) for the film Coyote Ugly .
