David Dellow (born April 21, 1979 in Brisbane ) is an Australian triathlete and two-time Ironman winner (2012, 2017). He is on the best list of Australian triathletes on the Ironman distance .

Career

David Dellow has been a professional triathlete since 2002 and he starts for the TBB team .

In June 2012, at the Ironman Cairns , he achieved his first long-distance win in an Ironman race (3.86 km swimming, 180.2 km cycling and 42.195 km running).

In July 2015 he finished third at the Challenge Roth and set a new personal best in the long distance with 7:59:28 h.

In May 2016 he finished second at Ironman Australia . In 2017 he won the race and thus got his second Ironman victory.
In 2018 he started again in Port Macquarie , but could not finish the race. In June 2019 he finished third at the Ironman Cairns after his win in 2012.

Private

David Dellow was in a relationship with the Swiss triathlete Caroline Steffen (* 1978) until 2015 . He lives in Mooloolaba (Queensland, Australia).
