David Denman , actually David Joseph Lamb (born July 25, 1973 in Newport Beach , California ) is an American actor .

Life

David Denman was born in Newport Beach and attended Fountain Valley High School with Craig Brewer and Omar Metwally . After graduation, he attended the American Conservatory Theater in San Francisco. At the Juilliard School , Denman attended class Group 26 with Alan Tudyk and Sara Ramírez from 1993 to 1997 . He graduated from school with a Bachelor of Fine Arts .

David Denman married actress Nikki Boyer on May 27, 2001 . The marriage ended in divorce in 2010. September 2014 he married the actress Mercedes Mason . A child was born in 2018.

Career

David Denman made his acting debut in the medical series Emergency Room, and this was followed by other appearances on television series such as Chicago Hope , Pretender , X-Factor: The Incredible and The X-Files of the FBI . He then played in 2000, The Replacements alongside Keanu Reeves and Gene Hackman , the role of Brian Murphy . In the television series Angel - Hunters of Darkness , he impersonated the role of Skip for four episodes and played in crime series such as CSI: Miami and Crossing Jordan - pathologist with profile . From 2005 to 2012 Denman impersonated Roy Anderson in 31 episodes in the comedy series The Office . For this achievement, he and the rest of the ensemble received the Screen Actors Guild Award in 2007 in the category of Best Acting Ensemble in a TV Series - Comedy .
