David Emig

David Emig (* 1971 in Rostock ) is a German actor .

Career

Emig's parents went to the theater in Rudolstadt in 1972 through their acting . He grew up between Erfurt , Weimar and Arnstadt . In 1995 he began to study drama at the Ernst Busch Academy of Dramatic Arts in Berlin . After graduating, engagements at the Hans Otto Theater in Potsdam and at the Mecklenburg State Theater in Schwerin and at the Magdeburg Theater followed . Emig completed his first theater work with directors such as Martin Meltke , Ekkehard Emig , Matthias Kubusch , Alexander Havemann , Peter Schubert and Rolf Winkelgrund .

After four seasons at the Hans Otto Theater, Emig was engaged by Peter Dehler at the Mecklenburg State Theater in Schwerin from 2002 to 2009. Further engagements led him to Jan Jochimsky at the Magdeburg Theater . Directed by Alexander Havemann, Claudia Bauer , Christian Kuchenbuch , Alexander Lang , Martin Meltke, Robert Schuster , Uta Koschel , Enrico Stolzenburg , Herbert Olschok , Jan Jochimsky, Alejandro Quintana , Henriette Hörnig , Alexander Marusch , Martin Nimz , Ralph Reichel and Tilman Gersch , Emig gained numerous theater experiences. In 2006 he directed the play What drug fits me (author: K. Hensel) with Katrin Huke in the leading role at the Schwerin Theater . In addition to his stage acting, Emig was also involved in television series and feature films. In the 2015/16 season, Emig appeared again at the Mecklenburg State Theater in Schwerin in Ibsen's Enemy of the People and in Mrożek's Tango .
