After Fluellen was not selected in the NFL Draft , the Philadelphia Eagles signed him . On August 20, 2014, Fluellen was placed on the waiver list . This decision was canceled a little later, in order to replace him with kicker Cody Parkey at the Indianapolis Colts . On August 30, 2014, however, he was dismissed as part of the final squad reduction before the start of the regular season.

On July 25, 2015, the Tennessee Titans signed Fluellen. He was released on September 5, 2015. On September 6, 2015, the Titans signed him to their Practice Squad . He was released on September 2, 2016. Fluellen was recruited for the Practice Squad on September 4, 2016. On November 7, 2016, he was promoted to the active squad. He was released on December 12, 2016, but signed up for the Practice Squad the next day.

For the 2017 season , Fluellen made the leap into the main squad. He played in all sixteen games, mostly on the special teams. He had 317 special team snaps (67%) and 17 offensive snaps (1.7%). He ran the ball four times for 21 yards. He also played in the Titans' two playoff games, but was unable to achieve any offensive statistics. After he was still active in the first game, he remained inactive for two games before being active again on the fourth game day. However, in early October he was placed on the injured reserve list after sustaining a knee injury.

Play style

Fluellen is a "north-south runner" and difficult to bring down. Fluellen has the ability to change direction and bypass defenders. He has the ability to be used on screens and to catch the ball on the run. He can record hits and shake off tackles. Fluellen could be more patient building blocks. It is not considered to be particularly fast, it is said to be lacking in speed and efficiency.
