David Petereit (born January 8, 1981 in Rochlitz ) is one of the leading activists of the neo-Nazi comradeship in Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania . From 2011 to 2016 he was a member of the far-right NPD the Landtag of Mecklenburg-Vorpommern on. He is deputy state chairman of the NPD Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania .

education

After graduating from high school in 1999 at the Integrated Comprehensive School "Walter Karbe" in Neustrelitz , Petereit initially did his military service and then from 2001 to 2004 completed training as a legal assistant . From 2004 to 2010 he studied law at the University of Rostock . In addition, from 2006 to 2011 he worked in the constituency office of the then NPD member of the state parliament, Birger Lüssow .

NPD

A year before they moved into the Mecklenburg-West Pomerania state parliament, he joined the NPD in 2005. At the end of the year he was already chairman of the party's regional arbitration commission. Today, David Petereit is the deputy state chairman of the NPD in Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania. In 2010 Petereit asked for donations for a new schoolyard CD for the NPD, which should also be distributed in other federal states. In the state elections in Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania in 2011 , he was elected to 5th place on the state list of the NPD and moved into the state parliament of Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania .

Free fellowships

David Petereit was considered to be the leading head of the Kameradschaft Mecklenburgische Aktionfront (MAF) from the Neustrelitz area. This comradeship was banned as unconstitutional by the Interior Minister of Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania on May 20, 2009.

Petereit is the editor of the publication The White Wolf, classified as neo-Nazi by the Office for the Protection of the Constitution . The magazine was founded in 1996 in the Brandenburg ad Havel penal institution as a “circular for comrades”. In this issue, the NSU terrorist group was thanked for a donation in 2002 , nine years before the right-wing extremist series of murders became known . Petereit is also involved in the Mecklenburg-Strelitz cultural area and the German Youth (HDJ), which was banned in 2009 . In July 2006, Petereit traveled with around 20 supporters of the HDJ and the Heimatbund Pomerania to meet like-minded people in Sweden . Every year David Petereit organizes the so-called "Tollense March" in Neubrandenburg. Between 80 and 130 neo-Nazis from Mecklenburg, Brandenburg and Berlin took part in the approximately 40-kilometer march. In 2016 there were only 36 participants.

Criminal proceedings

Petereit has been the operator of the Levensboom online shop since April 2007 . There he sells books on the Waffen-SS as well as “folk songs”. He also runs the Neuteutonia publishing house for writings and sound carriers .

On May 3, 2012, his apartment, business premises and office for members of parliament were searched by the Federal Public Prosecutor's Office and the Federal Criminal Police Office because the publication “The White Wolf” that he had previously published contained a greeting from the NSU . During the search, a letter was found, which was also found as a file on the PC in the NSU's burned Zwickau apartment.

In this context, he is accused of distributing audio carriers with right-wing extremist content. Petereit filed an objection against a penalty order for 2,100 euros, so that he is now being heard before the Rostock district court . The state parliament lifted its immunity on February 1, 2012.

On February 23, 2015 which sentenced him Amtsgericht Grevesmühlen because of sedition to a fine of 10,000 euros, since it had offered an English-language music CD with violence calls in July 2013 on the Internet. In another case, Petereit was acquitted on legal grounds.
