David Plüss

David Plüss (* 1957 ) is a Swiss musician , composer , arranger and music producer . As a producer and musician, he has looked after over 350 CDs by a wide variety of artists, from children's musicals to pop and rock productions to classical music.

Life

After studying music in Zurich , he published his own instrumental albums as a pianist and keyboardist , such as the Emotions CD series , but also worked for singers such as Clemens Bittlinger , Jonathan Böttcher , Gerhard Schöne , as well as the Mainz gospel choir popCHORn , the Spanish pantomime Carlos Martínez and not Most recently, he became known as an arranger for instrumental artists such as Hans-Jürgen Hufeisen , Bettina Alms and Helmut Kandert . In 1995 he arranged the project “The Messiah - Handel meets Pop” with Florian Sitzmann , Helmut Jost and Lothar Kosse , which gained attention because the arrangers dealt with Handel's ideas with respect, courage and originality . In 1999 Plüss was musically responsible for the closing event of the 21st German Evangelical Church Congress in Stuttgart and in 2001 for its opening in Frankfurt. Between 2005 and 2009, he realized new forms of multimedia concepts in collaboration with the Swiss photographer Urs Lüthi , with whom he published projects such as “Colors of our Earth”.

Private
