There he won the championship and cup again in 2003, 2004, 2005 and 2006, until he finally moved to the top Slovenian club RK Celje in 2006 . There he was planned as a replacement for Uroš Zorman and also won the championship in 2007, but returned after only one year to his financially rehabilitated Croatian parent club. In the summer of 2010, Špoljarić joined the German association Füchse Berlin. With the Foxes he reached the semifinals of the EHF Champions League 2011/12 , where they lost to the eventual winner THW Kiel with 24:25. In 2014 he won the DHB Cup with the Foxes . Špoljarić ended his career in 2016 with an expiring contract due to injury.
