Denis Andrejewitsch Ossipow ( Russian Денис Андреевич Осипов ; born May 9, 1987 in Moscow , Russian SFSR ) is a Russian ice hockey player who has been under contract with Kunlun Red Star in the Continental Hockey League since September 2019 .

Career

Denis Ossipow began his career as a hockey player in his hometown in the youth division of Krylya Sowetow Moscow , for whose professional team he made his debut in the Vysschaya League , the second Russian division, in the 2004/05 season , after having previously played for the The club's second team was active in the third-rate Pervaya League . In the 2005/06 season the defender rose with his team in the Super League , but had to accept the immediate relegation with the team. After another season in the Wysschaja Liga with Krylja Sowetow, he joined the HK MWD Balaschikha from the newly founded Continental Hockey League for the 2008/09 season . For this he played only one game in the entire season.

The 2009/10 season spent Ossipow again in the Wysschaja Liga, in which he played mainly for HK Rys Podolsk , before he ended the season at his ex-club PHK Krylya Sovetov Moscow. In the 2010/11 season he ran for HK Sarov in the new second Russian division, the Wysschaja Hockey League . For the following season he was committed by the KHL participant Awtomobilist Yekaterinburg , for which he completed 52 KHL games. He then moved to HK Ugra Khanty-Mansiysk . During the expansion draft on June 17, 2013, Ossipow was selected by Admiral Vladivostok and played there until November 2015 when he moved to HK Metallurg Magnitogorsk via the KHL waiver .

From May 2016 he was under contract with Lokomotive Yaroslavl and completed 46 KHL games for the club by November 2017, in which he collected 8 scorer points. Between December 2017 and spring 2019 he played for HK Dinamo Minsk . He was then without a club before he was signed by Kunlun Red Star in September 2019 .

International

For Russia Ossipow took part in the U18 World Junior Championship in 2005 . In six games he stayed without points and received four penalty minutes.
