Content and concept

The main actors Dennis Kaupp and Jesko Friedrich , both authors and directors of the show, slip into various, mostly typically northern German roles, such as farmers or captains. Due to his origins, Dennis Kaupp often mimes southern German characters.

The broadcast of the first season began on November 15, 2009, but nine best-of episodes ran under the same name in the weeks before, in which material from previous productions by Dennis Kaupp and Jesko Friedrich was shown. The second season, consisting of eight episodes, premiered on December 19, 2010 and ran under the title Dennis und Jesko - Die Sketchköppe . It is reminiscent of the British format Little Britain . The third and final season started on December 31, 2011 and ended in 2012.

In the first season the German country band had Truckstop several guest appearances in the second Heinz Hoenig , former news anchor Jo Brown , Chef Tim maltsters , the musicians Gotthilf Fischer and Tony Marshall and the NDR -Moderatorinnen Bettina Tietjen , Carlo von Tiedemann and Caren Miosga . In the third season, Jean Pütz and again Heinz Hoenig, Jo Brauner and Bettina Tietjen were guests.
