Dennis Muren
Dennis Muren (born November 1, 1946 in Glendale , California ) is an American special effects designer of American cinema. He became known as a visual effects supervisor for the Star Wars films by George Lucas .
Dennis Muren won eight Academy Awards for visual effects and has received nominations for several other films. In 2003 he received Festival Honors at the eDIT Filmmaker's Festival for his special achievements as a VFX Supervisor .
Muren is married to the filmmaker and landscape architect Zara Muren and they have two children. You currently live in California .
