Dennis Stratton (born October 9, 1952 in London ) is a British guitarist .

He was one of the first guitarists of the heavy metal band Iron Maiden from January 1980 to October 1980. Stratton had to leave the band despite his talent because Stratton and Steve Harris had differences in musical style. Stratton only played on the first album Iron Maiden . Since he left the band, he played in various bands such as Lionheart and Praying Mantis . Before joining Iron Maiden, he was in the band Remus Down Boulevard , with whom he is now back in London.
