Live at Donington is the fourth live album by the British heavy metal band Iron Maiden . The album was released on November 8, 1993 via EMI .

Unlike the previously released albums A Real Live One and A Real Dead One , Live at Donington includes a full concert. The album was recorded on August 22, 1992 at the Monsters of Rock Festival in Donington Park in front of about 70,000 spectators. This performance was widely regarded as the band's last major concert before the exit of the singer Bruce Dickinson . However, since Dickinson returned to the band in 1999, the performance lost its significance.
Former guitarist Adrian Smith returns to the stage during the song Running Free .
A VHS video of the show was also available, but has not been made for a long time. There were numerous bootlegs in advance , as the concert was broadcast on the radio. Originally the album was strictly limited, in particular the triple LP with an edition of 5000 copies was a sought-after collector's item. In North America, the live CD was not released at all.
The cover artwork is kept relatively simple and is reminiscent of a bootleg: You only see the band logo and the title in typewriter font.
Despite its limitation, the album reached # 23 on the British album charts.
Republication
In 1998 the album was re-released. The cover now adorns the original concert poster by Mark Wilkinson . In addition, the first four songs of the second CD were packed on the first CD. The space freed up on the second CD was used for a multimedia part.
