The Man Who Chased Eichmann is a television film based on the novel Eichmann in My Hands by Peter Zvi Malkin and Harry Stein , directed in 1996 by William A. Graham .

The Israeli secret service Mossad tracked down the Nazi war criminal Adolf Eichmann in Argentina in May 1960 . The two Jewish specialists Peter Zvi Malkin and Isser Harel are now devising a plan to catch Eichmann, to take him out of the country, and to bring him to justice in Israel for his crimes in the Holocaust .
On May 11, 1960, the Mossad succeeded in the coup - Eichmann was arrested. In hiding, a few days before the kidnapping in Israel, Eichmann reveals himself to the investigators.
The film ends with Eichmann's kidnapping in Israel in an El Al machine.
Background information
Shot on original locations in Argentina (including the original hiding place and the original house in which Eichmann lived before his arrest), the film reconstructs the arrest and detention in an Argentine house.
The film is counted among the independent films; Robert Duvall also oversaw the production as executive producer .
