German Volleyball Bundesliga 1980/81 (women)

The 1980/81 season of the Volleyball Bundesliga was the fifth edition of this competition. The USC Münster was able to defend his title from last year and was the fourth time German champions . Elmschenhagen and Hanover had to relegate.

The USC Münster took up the title as defending champion. The newcomers were the SG / JDZ Feuerbach, SW Elmschenhagen, Hamburger SV and SV Lohhof.
