German Volleyball Bundesliga 2007/08 (women)
The 2007/08 season of the volleyball Bundesliga began on October 6, 2007 and ended on April 26, 2008. The Rote Raben Vilsbiburg became German champions for the first time . For the first time there were live broadcasts of Bundesliga games on television.

This season the following eleven teams played in the first division:

- VC Olympia Berlin

Dresdner SC competed as defending champion. TSV Sonthofen came from the second division. The national junior team, previously active as VC Olympia Rhein-Neckar, played this season in Berlin and was again not involved in the play-down round.
Season course
Schwerin and Dresden, the dominant teams in recent years, occupied the first two places in the table after the main round. Since Vilsbiburg was tied with these two teams in third place and Suhl was only two points behind, a close decision about the German championship was imminent. The nine-time champions Münster, however, had to go to the playdown round as in the previous year. Against the USC, the promoted Sonthofen managed the only victory.
The decision in the final round of the German championship was made on the penultimate matchday. Vilsbiburg lost in Wiesbaden, but benefited from the defeat of Dresdner SC against Leverkusen. With this, the Rote Raben celebrated their first championship title.
In the playdown round, Sonthofen remained without a win. Since the league was expanded to fourteen teams in the 2008/09 season , there was no relegated team.
