German Volleyball Bundesliga 1988/89 (women)
The 1988/89 season of the Volleyball Bundesliga was the thirteenth edition of this competition. The CJD Feuerbach became German champion for the first time . Schmiden had to get down.

Bayern Lohhof competed as defending champion. TSV Schmiden and TV Hörde were promoted. Türk Gücü Munich withdrew shortly before the season.
