German Volleyball Bundesliga 1989/90 (women)
The 1989/90 season of the Volleyball Bundesliga was the fourteenth edition of this competition. The CJD Feuerbach was able to defend his title from the previous year and became German champion for the second time . Hörde and Vilsbiburg had to relegate.

CJD Feuerbach competed as defending champion. Hamburger SV and VC Straubing were promoted.
For the first time, the women's play-offs with eight participants took place, the better-placed team first had home rights.
