Devchuli ( Nepali देवचुली Devchuli ) is a city ( municipality ) in the district of Nawalparasi (Bardaghat Susta East) in the Nepalese province of Gandaki .

Devchuli is on the west bank of the Narayani in the central Terai . The Mahendra Rajmarg highway runs through Devchuli. The city was created in 2014 by merging the Village Development Committees Devchuli , Dibyapuri and Pragatinagar . The urban area covers 112.72 km².

Residents

At the 2011 census, the VDCs, from which the city of Devchuli emerged, had 31,484 inhabitants (14,495 male) in 6,830 households.
