Alexandra Fuchs doesn't really want to have anything to do with men anymore, but at her new job in a dry cleaner she meets the sympathetic and shy businessman Gregor Sand, who immediately caught her attention. Alexandra wants to make an impression on him by introducing her invention, a shelf life meter for food, to him. She gets support from the patent attorney Fiona-Salm Friedrich, who used to be in her school class. But her friend takes advantage of Alexandra's trust ice cold. She pretends to Gregor Sand that the durability knife is an invention of her.

criticism

The critics of the TV magazine TV Spielfilm pointed their thumbs to the side, gave one of three possible points for humor, action and suspense and, with reference to the film title, came to the conclusion: “Here the inventors could have improved”. It was further stated: "On the romantic side, the film scores a few points of charm, but a lack of dialog humor and too little oomph hardly give rise to a smile".
