Love never dies (Original title: Their Eyes Were Watching God ) is an American drama film directed by Darnell Martin from 2005 . It is the film adaptation of the 1937 novel Their Eyes Were Watching God by Zora Neale Hurston .

The African American Janie Starks lives in a place in Florida . She has had two divorced marriages.

Starks begins a relationship with a much younger man, which causes a stir in the town where she lives. Her friend Phoebe Watson stands by her.
