Die Schulermittler is a pseudo-docu-soap of the private television broadcaster RTL . The series was produced by the production company Stampfwerk GmbH and their sub-producers Norddeich.
content
The program showed the intervention of school social workers on behalf of a commissioner in the vicinity of schools when there had been theft , drug use , property damage , extortion , bullying , bodily harm or pregnancy . They investigated and tried to help those affected.
Two teams alternated in the series: The first consisted of the social worker Thorsten Heck, the social pedagogue Sarah Lee and the commissioner Stefan Kern. The second team consisted of the employees of the Office for School, Family and Social Affairs Sophie Koch and Sören Petersen, headed by Commissioner Susanne Kaspary. A camera team allegedly accompanied the teams as they worked in the schools to show how they cleared up the individual cases. From the fifth season, the teams changed. Team 1 now consisted of team boss Sarah Lee and her employees Dirk Wolf and Gina Sander. Team 2 consisted of Sören Petersen and Selma Jung, who were led by Commissioner Susanne Kaspary.
background
The cases were set. The model of school social work on behalf of the police is also fictitious. With the exception of the six main characters, all of the characters were played by amateur actors . The two teams usually alternated on a weekly basis, with exceptions. Thorsten Heck from Team 1 had an appearance in the episode "On Cloud 7", which was played by Team 2. The series also played in the same series universe as fraud cases , as Susanne Kaspary had a guest appearance in the same role.
