Dihlabeng ( English Dihlabeng Local Municipality ) is a local municipality in the Thabo Mofutsanyana district , Free State Province , South Africa . The administrative headquarters are in Bethlehem . Lindiwe Makhalema is the mayor.
The community name derives from the Sesotho word "Metsi a Dihlaba", which means the water of the Little Caledon River or the Lesotho Highlands Water Project and the As River, which supplies some places in the municipality. The municipality borders a section of northern Lesotho .
